I’m running because no democracy can survive lawlessness at the top and injustice at its core.

This is bigger than D.C.

I’m running to take immediate action to remove a lawless, ineligible president, and to finally secure D.C. Statehood as a vital step toward restoring representative democracy for all.

​

Despite clear constitutional prohibitions, insurrectionists currently sit atop our government. And although the injustice of taxation without representation has been recognized since our country’s founding, it remains the daily reality for the citizens of our nation’s capital.

​

These may appear to be separate issues; they are not.

They stem from the same disregard for democratic principles and, together, threaten the survival of what was always meant to be a republic.

​

At this point, the criminality of this administration should no longer be in dispute;
nor should the unjust, dictatorial relationship Congress maintains with D.C. citizens.
In both cases, what’s missing isn’t evidence.

​

It’s the creativity, the courage, and the coordination to act.

​

Irreparable harm is being done daily. Waiting for the next election is not enough.

​

That’s why I intend to take action during this campaign, not just after it.

I will use this platform to outline specific, lawful plans for the immediate removal of this administration.

And I will expose the illogical misinterpretation of the Constitution that suggests D.C. residents were ever meant to live under dictatorship.

​

The urgency of correcting both crises,  national and the local, is paramount to protecting our republic.
 

Now, I’m asking for your help to apply immediate pressure on Congressional leadership to take specific steps to remove an ineligible president, cabinet, and all those actively supporting an ongoing insurrection.

​

That action must be immediately followed by a renewed and coordinated push for D.C. Statehood; a change that would strengthen democracy by ending minority-manufactured gridlock that blocks widely supported laws and reforms.
 

D.C. Statehood will:

• Break that gridlock,

• Help root out corruption,

• Protect our planet,

• Reduce mass shootings,

• Insulate our courts from political infiltration, and

• Let Americans govern ourselves like mature adults committed to democracy.
   

This is our moment to act with vision, urgency, and purpose.
